“ A little hard to find from the outside but once you find it I highly recommend you walk in and give it a try! Arguably some of the best sushi I have had in Boston. It's super cute inside and has both table seating, bar seating, and sushi bae seating (which I thought was a nice touch). Wasn't too loud in there which was also a plus. Everything we got was great, but the best thing we had has to be the crispy rice. Perfectly crispy, the tuna was so smooth and flavorful; overall delicious! The service was also really good. Never had to wait too long to order. Cleared out dishes to make room for what came next without rushing us. The server even included a complimentary strawberry mochi for us at the end. ”
“ Have dined here several times and the food and service have been consistently very good. They open at noon every day. We stopped in yesterday at 4pm- a snowy Saturday- and it was empty. Business picked up as we were leaving. We enjoyed crispy rice (favorite), spicy tuna, salmon tartare, shishito peppers, golden Karrage (special) and MochiDoki for dessert. Good pace- food came out as it was ready as we grazed on everything. It's connected to the Hotel Commonwealth. Comfy space with an attentive server. ”
“ I ordered take out during a recent stay at Hotel Commonwealth. I am thankful that I could order online and walk right downstairs to pick up my food on a cold December evening. I was craving Japanese. Dark and romantic inside.. with a bit of mood that I enjoyed while sipping my very expensive cocktail. Service was friendly and fast. My food was fresh and delicious... but I've definitely had better for less price. But, I guess the price is based upon location, maybe? ”

“ Went here with friends and food was great, although it felt a bit rushed. The kitchen was extremely efficient so as soon as anything was done the next was brought out. I would've loved a bit more relaxed service but not a big deal just a reminder to make your own pauses here. My group of 6 was in and out in an hour. Sushi was great quality and a stand out was the crispy rice with salmon, very good! Cocktails were also delicious and strong. ”
“ Sushi deluxe platter was extremely worth it. Cuts of fish were so buttery and thick. Great pieces that had really nice flavor. A nice variety as well. Takeout order placement was quick and easy. The edamame was really over steamed though which is the only reason for 4 stars. ”
“ Two words I can describe Blue Ribbon Sushi,... DELICIOUS & FRESH! We got the salmon tartare, three maki rolls, an assortment of sashimi including uni, toro, salmon, as well as hamachi, and lychee martinis! The Lychee martini was simply divine and they were not light handed when making it. All of the fish was super fresh! The rolls that they offer here are on the simpler side, however, they were made with perfection-- perfect amount of filling in one bite. Location wise, it was kind of tricky for us to find, as we got confused with the Brasserie right next door but we were able to locate it quickly. Our server was super kind, helpful, and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful inside and had a nice, chill vibe to it. They are on the pricier/upscale side but the meal was worth it! ”
